Hi there. I'm Madi! I'm the owner and lead floral designer here at The Flower Garden Shop. First and foremost, I’m a mother- the greatest, and most life-changing part of my personal journey. My kiddo has shaped who I am, and reminds me daily of what’s truly important. (Hint: it’s the little things) I’m so proud of her and her generation; I think the way they view the world with kindness and acceptance will change it.

I've recently reached a new chapter in motherhood, which allows me new freedom do discover who I am beyond being a mom. So far, I've discovered a few new things I'm passionate about, and I can't wait to learn more!

I’ve worked with plants and flowers for 5 years, working with children for ten years before that. I’m fortunate enough to have found something I’m passionate about that brings me joy every single day, and connects me with lovely people like you!

Weddings are about more than cake and a big, beautiful party. Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us, and whom we would do anything for. And where would we be without the love of our family and chosen family? It heals us, brings us together, celebrates our differences, and it allows us to keep going when this big adventure gets scary. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about.
Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. Flowers are my medium, and I create my pieces to embody the excitement and hope of a couple creating a life together .
